Dr Abubakarr B Bah is an astute consultant Paediatrician and the Medical Superintendent of the Ola During Children’s Hospital (ODCH) In Freetown. His expertise in Paediatric cardiology healthcare services is exceptional. He is also  the head of the Emergency Unit at ODCH. He did is postgraduate residency training in the University College Hospital, Ibadan, in Nigeria and he is a  Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP), faculty of Paediatrics. He also obtained Masters in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH), from the University of Ibadan He is a Mental Health Specialist and  oversees the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit at ODCH.

Dr Bah is the Secretary General of the Paediatric Association of Sierra Leone (PASL) and also a seasoned associate Lecturer at the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Paediatrics department. He   also serves as guest lecturer at the National School of Midwifery and Lead facilitator on the use of medical oxygen and deliverables in Sierra Leone. Dr Bah has contributed immensely to the development of myriads of standard operating protocols and strategies for child health service delivery Sierra Leone.
