Dr. Haja Safiyatu Sovula is a specialist paediatrician at Ola During Children’s Hospital, Freetown. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of South Wales, is a Member of the West African College of Physicians, and has obtained several postgraduate diplomas in child health and development. She is recognised as one of Sierra Leone’s 50 Most Influential Women and is actively involved in clinical practice, teaching, and research. Dr. Sovula currently serves as the Public Relations Officer of the Pediatric Association of Sierra Leone (PASL) and is committed to advocacy, professional development, and child-health policy engagement aimed at strengthening neonatal care and outcomes in Sierra Leone and the wider West African subregion.
